Greetings, party starters and music maestros! Ever wish you could carry a concert in your pocket, complete with a backstage pass to Alexa’s shindig? Look no further, because Echo Pop just sashayed onto the scene, ready to drop beats and jokes like a rockstar comedian!Picture this: you, the modern-day Beethoven, strolling down the street with a pocket-sized boombox that’s as slick as a jazz solo. Echo Pop isn’t just a speaker; it’s a full-on music-fueled fiesta on the fly. Alexa’s got your back, spinning tunes and trivia faster than a DJ scratching vinyl.Worried about the bass? Fear not! Echo Pop might be compact, but it’s got enough boom to make your neighbor’s goldfish start a dance-off. Seriously, it’s so loud and clear, your eardrums might start requesting an encore. The sleek charcoal design blends in perfectly with any party decor, making it the ultimate plus-one for every event. Battery life? It lasts longer than that one hit wonder’s career, keeping the party going well into the wee hours. With Echo Pop, you’re not just getting a speaker; you’re adopting a dance partner, a trivia master, and a stand-up comedian all in one. So, gear up, groove on, and let Echo Pop pump up the jam. Who’s ready to rock and roll, pocket-style? 🎶🔊

Haven’t owned a Dot or similar non-screened Echo since the second generation. Since this one was basically free at my time of purchase I gave it a shot. Does not get as loud as some of the more expensive Echoes but I tell you what, I wouldn’t be mad if this was my only Echo. It is therefore a great entry point to the ecosystem and purchasers will not be disappointed. Do not expect studio quality sound but it is more than decent. Setup was seamless as usual for Amazon products. Voice recognition seems much faster than my more expensive Echo Spot.

In all fairness, this thing sounds 100x better than any other device its size. I have an off-brand bluetooth speaker that cost a lot more, and it does not come close to the quality of this little thing. All it needs is an led display on the face and you have a mini echo-dot! Setup took seconds. Voice recognition is great. It seems to be everything the echo dot is but half the size and no LED display. For the price it’s a great deal.

As a BABY BOOMER I was a tough sell on home automation. Not sure how Alexa would fit in my lifestyle. After 2 Alexa Devices, and a couple smart plugs, I am SOLD. There is an Alexa device in every room, controlling the lighting and climate control. At a reasonable price and with limited expertise it becomes possible to automate your home. One does NOT need to be a computer geek to set it up, nor a lottery winner to afford it.

I have several Echo Dot (3rd Gens) that I’ve had for a long time. I wanted to add a speaker in a new room (specifically to listen to music while working out) and it looked like the Echo Pop is the new low-end Echo device, so I went ahead and purchased it. It is a bit smaller than the Echo Dot and it works. But it definitely sacrifices some sound quality for the low price and small package. The old Echo Dot doesn’t exactly blow you away with sound, but it was pretty decent. It sounded pretty good. It had a little bit of bass. The Echo Pop has zero base. It sounds kind of hollow, even when you turn up the volume. It’s a step up from playing music on your phone, but not great for blasting music. With that, it’s a great low-cost option if you want a smart speaker and you’re not planning to listen to a whole lot of music on it. It would be fine for your office or for white noise at bed time. Listening to music while working out, or cooking, or cleaning? Not so much.

I wanted a portable speaker for travel that was inexpensive. I found this. I was not keen on the Alexander feature. I don’t care, I don’t need AI in my life, nor automation. I’m a young enough disabled US Army Veteran who is not ignorant to technology and know how to use my phone/apps.That being said, I changed Alexa’s voice to a soothing British one, which is calming. “She” has promises me that “she” is not listening to what I may, or may not be saying in my bedroom, or watching on TV late at night (😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣), and with that voice, I tend to believe “her”.I have had no problems for literal years manually turning on my Spotify, but Alexa seems to find joy in doing that one task for me. Who am I to deny that AI, with my cousin’s name, some common, human joy?For a $25 speaker @ $7, it’s a steal. The sound quality is good. It’s not JBL, Polk, h/k, etc., but I wasn’t looking to spend any sort of money for something I wasn’t looking to purchase.

The positives of the Echo Pop are the ability to pair two together for a true stereo sound in the room. Overall the sound quality is pretty good especially when you take into consideration the price. The other nice thing is that they are fairly easy to pair together through the app for the various rooms and accessories. The biggest problem I find, and it gets very frustrating is when the device suddenly no longer understands a request… usually to stop playing music. Other requests still work but, for some reason, Alexa thinks the party isn’t over and requires you to run around the house and unplug, and reset, all the devices playing music. Even worse is after two or three times of asking Alexa to stop playing music, she launches into a dissertation of what you need to do to properly use the device. Fortunately, the next day, all seams to work like it should. This is good, because for some reason I feel that it was all my fault and I should send her flowers.

I recently got my hands on the Echo Pop, and I must say, it has quickly become a cherished addition to my life. This little device has blown me away, earning every bit of its well-deserved 5-star rating. The Echo Pop’s versatility is one of its standout features. It seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, whether I’m using it to set reminders, check the weather, or control my smart home devices. The voice recognition technology is impressively accurate, making interactions with this device feel natural and intuitive.Sound quality is another area where the Echo Pop truly shines. Despite its compact size, it delivers rich, crisp audio that fills the room. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or audiobooks, the sound quality never disappoints. The device’s design is sleek and modern, fitting seamlessly into any room’s decor. The customizable and colorful casings are a fun touch that allows me to personalize it to my liking. One of my favorite aspects is the continuous improvement of its capabilities through regular software updates. Amazon’s commitment to enhancing the Echo experience is evident, and it’s reassuring to know that my Echo Pop will only get better over time.
