I can’t say enough about this product. It is easy to use, smells amazing, cleans my WHITE Jack Russell and other than feeling a little damp on their skin, you can almost pretend to be petting them as you apply it. It is not overly wet either. I do wipe him with a towel but mainly to wipe off any dirt. It is great for spot cleaning if they just roll in some thing and you want to clean immediately and great for in between baths. It leaves him soft and smelling wonderful. Jack Russells tend to be very dry skinned, this is a great alternative to shampooing so often.

My Great Dane loves this stuff as much as we do! He smells so good after using this on him.

I bought this I when we first brought home our rescue at the end of July. She is a 22 month old red heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix. We wanted to wash the rescue smells off of her and she also seems to get a little irritated/itchy from the grass and things outside. The itching seems to have improved, although it’s also possible the itching was just new home nerves. We’ve had her for about a month now and I give her a bath with this almost every week before I brush her out. She can be skittish about some things but doesnt mind this at all! I am positive she wouldn’t tolerate an actual water bath, and considering she wont let anyone trim her nails and can be very nippy, a real bath would be a nightmare. She recently started hunting for lizards in dirt piles on our walks (video attached – not shown: Hartley literally belly flopping into the dirt to pin down a tiny lizard), so she can get VERY dirty. I wiper her down with some Poggi hypoallergenic dog wipes and then use this and the result is great! Only after she is clean is she allowed on the bed (clean pic also attached). The scent lasts about a day, maybe less, on her and we go for walks at least 4 times a day (not all of them involve dirt piles, thankfully lol). The scent reminds me of something i cant quite put my finger on, but it works! It doesn’t irritate me and I can be very sensitive to certain smells. I would recommend this to most dog owners, especially to those who would find it hard to give their dog a water bath. Our dog basically thinks its a fun petting/massage session. Sometimes it can seem a tiny bit sticky but usually if I brush her out it does not feel that way anymore

So initially I loved this product. If you follow the instructions, the product works as it should. I like to use two different brushes after using on my GSD to really blend the product. After using this a few times, I noted that it consistently does leave a residue on the coat. This past time, I was giving my dog cuddles the morning after using the shampoo and my hands had a light coating of residue. It wasn’t sticky, but it felt like a trapped layer of dirt, which it kind of was. I keep it on hand because it’s nice to have for freshening, or now when my dog had surgery, but I wouldn’t make it a point to use on a regular basis.

I like anything that makes life easier for me or our dogs. This waterless, foaming shampoo is pretty good. Some waterless baths are just water sprayed and brushed/rubbed into the dog. This foams and allows you to feel that you’re giving a better bath. I would argue that there may not be much more benefit, if any at all, to this versus a “waterless” bath that is all water instead of foam.I find that I am using more of this than expected with my small 12-13 pound dog. I pump it three times onto my hand and I feel like I can cover about 1/3 of the dog with that much. I found myself using around ten pumps for her and then she looked (but wasn’t) matted. It was interesting with how sticky she felt and I was inclined to rinse her off. I brushed her out a little and let her run around. She wasn’t any softer than usual, but definitely smelled good for many days after.Ultimately, if you’re willing to spend a little extra effort with brushing and post-waterless bath grooming, this isn’t a bad choice. It definitely freshens the dogs up for at least a week after. You can look at dog deodorizers as well, but for me, they only last a couple of days at the most.In the end, I would give this a 3.5 star rating, rounded up to 4. If the stickiness didn’t exist, this could be 4-4.5 stars for sure.

First of all, I have a 100 lb. Great Pyrenees who will bark at a butterfly flapping it’s wings 209 miles away, but who is also afraid of his own shadow, the vacuum, the car, our rabbits, his own tail, and the paparazzi. (he must be tricked into getting his photo taken). You get the picture. Trying to get him groomed is a nightmare, but, since he sheds Pomeranian size tufts of fur all over the house on a daily basis, it is also a necessity. He refuses to go near a car. He is a nightmare. So, though I brush him, he has not had a proper bath in two years since he got sprayed by a skunk and ripped apart my bathroom as I tried to bathe him. People love him, but no one want to pet him bc he smells like swamp water. Out of sheer desperation, I read every review on the internet and found this amazing product along with some grooming gloves from Amazon. First, I removed the equivalent of 17 cocker spaniel’s worth of fur from his undercoat and then applied copious gobs of the foam with the grooming gloves and really worked it in. Imagine my shock and delight when my stinky boy not only smelled like he’d been rolling in a patch of spring flowers, but also looked bright, clean, and extra handsome. He even let me take his picture. I swear by this stuff and will be using it regularly! Do not hesitate to buy! It is Humphrey endorsed and approved.

My very senior chi has itched and scratched her whole life. Nothing, I mean, nothing, has ever helped and in many cases actually made her allergies worse. That is until today. I received Mighty Mutt waterless shampoo yesterday and used it for the first time this morning. She has not scratched once today. I’m beyond pleased!

We use this in between bathing the dogs when they get dusty and start to smell like dogs. Saves a trip to get them washed. It isn’t really all that dry but much better than having to give them a full bath.

    Elderly sog
My beautiful dog is elderly now with arthritis and Cushing disease. She is receiving appropriate medication and I use this product to keep her clean. The product works well.

    Must have for all pet-parents
This has definitely increased the intervals between grooming sessions for us. It freshens up the coat and takes out any mild smells. Great for cleaning up paws and privates. also good for underbelly clean-ups when it gets dirty with dew or muck on rainy days. Doesn’t leave a “wet dog” smell after it dries. Application is super simple… just spray the foam on your palms and then rub it gently into the area to clean… after a while it vanishes and the area is left clean and odour free.
